Lectors Volunteer Representative, Brenda O’Faherty Franklin

Brenda was raised in an Irish Catholic family in Oakland, California, Brenda attended Holy Names High and St. Lawrence O’Toole Schools. She earned a B.S. and a Standard Secondary Teaching Credential from UC Davis.

Brenda owns Ingredients, Inc, a food ingredient brokerage business that sells to food processors.

A member of Holy Redeemer Parish since 1984, Brenda participates in Eucharistic & Lector Ministries, and past member of the Bible Study Group, RCIA Team and Renewal program. She’s also an active volunteer at St. Francis High School and Vice President Mother’s Guild Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy.

Carl, also a very active member of the parish, and Brenda have two children. Sean, a student and athlete from the Class of 2005 at St. Francis High School, is bound for University of Colorado at Boulder. Elise plans to study architecture in college after finishing her studies and sports career at Flintridge Scared Heart Academy, Class of 2007.
