Mission Statement

Open enrollment for future Altar Servers in 5th grade or higher is in early September with formal training by the Sacristans to follow. Scheduling comes out ever two months with the servers request for a particular mass time fulfilled. In May, the servers together celebrate a Mass of Appreciation when each is recognized and personally thanked by Father Ed with a special certificate and gift.

Meet Altar Servers Coordinator Kathy Morreale!

“I fell in love with Holy Redeemer in 1980 when I first visited the Church after graduating from Mount Saint Mary’s College. Feeling comfortable from that visit, I have considered Holy Redeemer Parish home.”

Kathy is a Eucharistic Minister, taught CCD, member of the Welcoming Committee and Continuation Capital Campaign Project Committee, Girl Scout Leader and at Holy Redeemer & Alverno Schools held various school board positions.

“Although each ministry is truly special to me, Altar Serving Scheduling Director since 1998 is what I am now spending most of my time.”

Kathy and husband Louis have been married over 20 years and have three daughters. She works full time in the medical profession.
