Mission Statement

Open enrollment for future Altar Servers between the ages of 4 to 10 is in early September with formal training by the Sacristans to follow. Scheduling comes out ever two months with the servers request for a particular mass time fulfilled. In May, the servers together celebrate a Mass of Appreciation when each is recognized and personally thanked by Father Jack with a special certificate and gift.

Meet Altar Servers Coordinator Kathy Morreale!

“I fell in love with Holy Redeemer in 1980 when I first visited the Church after graduating from Mount Saint Mary’s College. Feeling comfortable from that visit, I have considered Holy Redeemer Parish home.”

Kathy is a Eucharistic Minister, taught CCD, member of the Welcoming Committee and Continuation Capital Campaign Project Committee, Girl Scout Leader and at Holy Redeemer & Alverno Schools held various school board positions.

“Although each ministry is truly special to me, Altar Serving Scheduling Director since 1998 is what I am now spending most of my time.”

Kathy and husband Louis have been married over 20 years and have three daughters. She works full time in the medical profession.
